Abalone, this abalone dish has a distinctly exotic flavour, one that lingers in
the mouth. It makes for a most distinctive gourmet dish that is suitable for the
family feast and as a premium gift for those who appreciate fine food.
Ingredients:
- Top grade "Family Fortune" Abalone - 1 can
- "Family Fortune" salad sauce for abalone - 1 bottle
- Kalamansi/Lime - 2 large spoonfuls (approximately 5 limes)
- Sesame oil - 2 large spoonfuls
- Crushed peanuts
- White sesame seeds - 1 large spoonful, stir fried
- Cucumber
- Pineapple
- Lettuce
- Chinese parsley
Preparation:
- Put the "Family Fortune" salad sauce for abalone in a bowl. Add in
kalamansi/lime and sesame oil. Stir and place aside.
- Wash and set lettuce on a large plate.
- Place pineapple and cucumber in thick slices on top of the lettuce.
- Slice the abalone and place on top decoratively.
- Pour the sauce on top of the abalone.
- Sprinkle crushed peanuts, stir fried white sesame seeds and Chinese
parsley on top.
- Everyone is now ready to "sheng lao" and enjoy this delicious
